The idea of a cell phone has been around since the nineteenth century. A cell phone is also referred to as a mobile phone, or a cellular device. The first cellular device was invented in 1973 by Martin Cooper. This mobile telephone was the size of a brick! Ever since this invention, the cell phone has become the most prevalent piece of technology. Nowadays, the majority of people in the world possess a cell phone. One country in particular that is very popular when it comes to cell phones is the United States of America.
